Re: Christchurch, New Zealand earthquake devastation
Natural disaster was so powerful that human beings could hardly imagine, here are my story during my holiday last month in Christchurch, New Zealand:-
We are just one step beyond death in New Zealand this trip and I wish to briefly share the story with all good friends online which I thought I could never see you all again in this world.
I was having lunch with my wife in a chinese restaurant near the outskirt of city in Christchurch on 22nd last month and the time was about 12:50 noon time, minutes after we order our meals, the earth starts to shake (it was magnitude 6.3 on the Richter scale), it goes ups and downs, back and forth for nearly 30 seconds, we all hide under the table, all things has fallen down and glasses broken everywhere, both of us are so panic and shocked, we grab our bags running for our life, our luggates still left in Christchurch and only managed to flee the city with our passport, wallen and cameras (wish I can upload some pictures on the affected city after I settled down). We changed planes for 8 times before reaching Taiwan on 28th last month. It was so traumatised and we not yet recovered from the nightmare during the earthquake as well as the whole evolution. Thanks God that we are spare with mercy and able to stay alive and return back home, anway, my eyeball starts bleeding few days ago, after consulting the Ophthalmologist, he said that it was caused by enormous pressure from the catastrophe I came through, it takes at least 15 days before fully recovered and blood spread out completely from my eyeball, I could manage to type with one eye and keeping my fingers crossed that all could resumed back to normal again in due time. It was so nice to stay alive!!!
