What is a promise? In my views, a promise is one to say something to someone that one will or will not does it. Normally I am a man of my word and most of the time I stick to it and make it happen. Consequently I dislike people's easy promise which can only make things worse
In our daily life we people tend to make easy promise,anytime and anywhere, to our friends,family,co-workers and bosses. Sometimes we are lucky that our pormises fullfiled without difficulties, sometimes luck is at odds with us. It is all becz God and luck ain't always on our side. On the contrary, shit happens all the time.
Naturally one will need someone else to clean one's mess if one's easy promises busted. After all, our luck may uses up someday and easy commitment ain't always that "easy" to honor. So we see people use theirs votes to punish vow-broken politicians in the poll (if we ain't amnesiac). Also we see playboys being dumped eventually by their girls if they continue to two-timing or even three-timing
This topic reminds me the American movie "The Shawshank Redemption" in which the two closed inmates Red and Andy (one paroled, one escaped) finally get out of the jail and keep their promises to Mexico, as it brings 'em hope and ever-lasting friendship
