Last night I watched the movie "The Hours" once again
Last time it was of 2003 and for unknown reason I sent one copy to Ping ,very weird I guess
This Oscar-awarded film is one of my favorite movies, in which starring with three talented actress
It has told me two things:one is "what does it mean to regret when you have no choice?"; the other is every desperated people seek to find their way-out in life, sometimes they kill themselves with escapism, and sometimes they choose to live and abandon evereything. To escape which means to get freedom. What would you choose?
(Movie's plot :three western women of different generations whose lives are interconnected by the novel Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf
Among them are Clarissa ( Meryl Streep), a New Yorker preparing an award party for her AIDS-stricken long-time friend and poet, Richard (Ed Harris) in 2001. In 1950s Laura (Julianne Moore), a pregnant housewife with a young boy and an unhappy marriage and Virginia Woolf herself (Nicole Kidman) in 1920s England, who is struggling with depression and mental illness whilst trying to write her novel)
