Today I happened to find out that one of my favorite Japanese actress became a porn star.
Yoko Shimada, at age of 57, filmed her first porn movie because of having financial problem.
It is said that she was heavily debted therefore she shot also her first nude photo album for money.
In 1970s she was well-known to western audience for the TV series "Shogun", starring with Richard Chamberlain. Also she was the leading actress,in 1996, in American movie "The Hunted" with Christopher Lambert.
Too bad that she had to be a porn actress in the final stage of her career, and too bad that she s no longer my favorite Japanese actress.
